CES 2017: LG Hub robot gives Alexa a friendly face

Like the idea of Amazon’s Alexa, but want it in a package with a little more personality than the Echo? Meet LG’s Hub robot, which can act as a friendly go-between with other pieces of smart home technology, as well as offer all the services available through Amazon’s Echo.

The Hub comes in two sizes, one small, one larger. They have touch screen faces and can even learn each family member’s face so it will able to greet you uniquely when it sees you.

No word yet on availability or pricing, but these are just one more example of the “Alexa everywhere” phenomenon that is a theme at this year’s CES.

I used to go by the name Cali Lewis. Then after 10 years of that, I decided... it's time to get REAL! So I threw out the things keeping the cap on my success and happiness! Who knew a simple name could hold you back?!? Now I'm on fire and ready to take the world by storm! :) Geeks Life and Live Streaming Pros are my passions and allow me to do what I love... HELP PEOPLE! And I love doing it side by side with my man, David and my chihuahua, Abbey.
